The piece is a story of a girl who was born during Cambodia's
Khmer Rouge military dictatorship. It is a performance consisting
of drama, dance, modern circus, live painting and live music,
which incorporates the process of healing scars left from the war
through the power of art. It was created based on the true story of
Khuon Det, the co-founder of the Phare Circus.
Phare Circus is an enterprise and local NGO established to resolve
social problems in Cambodia. It has been teaching children in
disadvantaged areas through artists for 25 years. It regards
